Aditya Puri, a senior advisor at The Carlyle Group and a former managing director of HDFC Bank, is likely to be appointed to the board of directors of YES Bank on Carlyle’s behalf, sources informed ET NOW. According to several sources, Shweta Jalan will represent Advent International on the bank’s board. At Advent International, Jalan serves as managing partner.

The nomination and compensation committee will soon receive recommendations for the names. The names would be approved by the NRC of YES Bank and sent to the RBI for approval. On the board of the bank, the nominee directors for Carlyle and Advent will be non-executive and non-retiring, according to sources.
