It’s “Apples to Apples.” Internally, rapid commerce provider Blinkit’s town halls were referred to as such, reflecting the company’s desire to provide everything from apples to Apple items like the iPhone. This desire now appears to be materialising in its entirety.
Albinder Dhindsa, the company’s CEO and founder, said on Twitter on Friday that the quick-commerce startup has partnered with Apple distributor Unicorn to offer Apple goods, including the recently released iPhone 14.
Delivering goods beyond the standard rapid commerce categories is how Blinkit has always hoped to break into the larger ecommerce market.
iPhone 14 is coming soon! We have teamed up with Unicorn to quickly deliver Apple iPhones and accessories to Blinkit clients. Currently accessible in Delhi and Mumbai. Update your iOS and Android phones’ [Blinkit] apps to the most recent versions to purchase,” Dhindsa tweeted on Friday.
