In Delhi, there is a yellow alert: what has been closed and what will remain open?

Today, a yellow alert was issued in Delhi because to an increase in Covid cases and the threat of a new type of Omicron.Yellow warning imposes restrictions such as night curfews, school closures, and half seating capacity in public transportation, among other things. 

Schools, cinema theatres, and gyms in the capital were all closed under the new order. 

Spas, banquet rooms, auditoriums, and sports complexes were also temporarily closed. Mall shops will be allowed to operate on an odd-even basis from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the order. The Delhi Metro, restaurants, and pubs will all be at half-capacity. Buses will also be operating at 50% capacity, in addition to the Metro. Standing passengers will not be permitted in the Metro or on buses. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declared earlier today that the Graded Response Action Plan’s Level-I (Yellow alert) had been implemented throughout the capital.
