BharatPe founder and former MD Ashneer Grover has told ET that the shares of Bhavik Koladiya, one of the original cofounders of the fintech company, were bought in pre-Series A funding by himself, Sequoia Capital, cofounder Shashvat Nakrani, and angel investor Beenext for the first time since a series of controversies began in January.

After Grover resigned from the corporation, Koladiya’s alleged shareholding in the company became a point of controversy, as ET previously reported. Koladiya was removed from the BharatPe cap table after being charged with credit card fraud in the United States.
