Indian authorities are looking into the local support that two Chinese nationals received in forming a company that claimed to be a subsidiary of smartphone maker Vivo.
According to sources, two chartered accountants and a company secretary are already under investigation.

Grand Prospect International Communication Pvt Ltd is a distributor of products from Chinese manufacturer Vivo in Jammu and Kashmir. Forged documents are said to have been used to register the company and obtain director identification numbers.

According to the people, the three professionals certified the documents despite knowing they were forged and contained “false information.”
