Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s normal reaction to the question “sir market ki kya lagta hai” (How does the market seem) would have been “the mother of all bull markets is coming.”
The throne of “Big Bull” is now vacant and has little competition thanks to Dalal Street’s embodiment of the eternal bull.
“Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is well ahead of any bull who comes after him. No one even comes close,” admits famous investor Vijay Kedia, who acquired his own fortune in the stock market after moving from Kolkata to Mumbai penniless.
Harshad Mehta marked the beginning of the “Big Bull” era, which concluded with the death of Jhunjhunwala on Sunday morning, according to HNI investor Safir Anand of Delhi.
